We have 3 types of YouTube ads - pre-roll ad, mid-roll ad and post-roll ad. Mid-roll YouTube ad has always been set to Smart Placing by default. However, I discovered that allowing YouTube AI to determine the placement is a bad idea. The mid-roll ad is either missing or placed at the very end of the video where it will never be played!
Double check your mid-roll ad placement and fix it as soon as possible to increase your revenue on YouTube.
