New Delhi, April 22 (ANI): Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said on Wednesday the government was making all efforts for the implementation of a long-awaited GST (Goods and Services Tax) from April 1, 2016. Jaitley made the comments after meeting state finance ministers to review the progress of GST, which was introduced in December. Jaitley said states had more or less agreed to the proposal and had even raised concerns before him. He hoped that issues in the run up to the introduction of GST would be smoothened out.
