March is a changeable month and just a couple of weeks ago the garden was frozen and cold. Now less than a week after the spring equinox, I take you on a look around the allotment garden.
There's plenty of mulching that's been done (and needs doing) and plenty of in-progress clearing and tidying. There's also signs that perennial fruit bushes and plants are waking up. Green leaves are unfurling and at least one rhubarb plant is ready for harvesting!
