While addressing the party workers after being released from jail on Wednesday, 3 April, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh said he had spent six months in jail, and was "not afraid of the BJP". He was lodged in Tihar Jail in the alleged Delhi Excise Policy Scam.
Before his address, Singh, along with his wife Anita Singh, met Sunita Kejriwal, the wife of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Kejriwal was also arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in the same case on 21 March, and is still in jail.
