If your coat won't stay on its hanger, you can insert the hook through the coat's neck loop to secure it. To clean and polish stainless steel shelves, you can use a little vaseline. If you want to make an air freshener for the bathroom, you can put some rock salt into a jar, add a few drops of essential oil and embellish with some decorative, artificial flowers. One way to perfume your drawers, is to put some rice soaked in essential oil in a duster and place it amongst your linens. You can add water and rice starch to your laundry to soften your towels. If you have only a few pegs available, you can hang up your socks with just one using this method.
