This is the alpha mp test of Quake 3 Arena. The very first version of the game does not work on my computer so here I'm showing the one that does (1.06). It's similar to the final version but there are some differences. We can see different colour plasma gun and rail gun projectiles, more expressed smoke trails on rockets and lighting gun, a bit different texturing on ammo packs and health packs and so on. The menus in this version remind a bit on those in Quake II and the in-game HUD has a gothic font. There are no bots, servers or players so this test has just a informative value.
