Martin and Rafael were childhood friends who grew up on different sides of the law. Martin became a hired killer, while Rafael turned into a respected defense lawyer. Rafael defended Martin in a murder case and got him acquitted. For this, Martin promised undying gratitude and to be ready with the payment when Rafael asked for it. In due time, he did. Martin had already turned over a new leaf but because it was a debt of gratitude he had every intention of keeping his promise.
