INGER KRONSETH. She will be 90 years old in October. Born in
Denmark, she worked with the resistance against the Nazi occupiers,
had to flee Denmark for Sweden aboard a fish-boat, her brother and the
young resistance fighter she married were both killed.. Became a
reporter for Reuters all over Europe. Came to Canada, worked as a
ranch cook in the Kootenays, remarried but then brought up her
daughter as a single mom by teaching. Lost both her daughter and her
granddaughter to accidents but has always soldiered through Joined
the Raging Grannies in l988.

Hi, Kym Hothead here honoring one of my mentors. My daughter who is 8 is sitting right beside her at this picnic. I asked Alison to help set this up as I feel such a need to be close to my elders with my daughter, so she can hear these powerful stories of bravery from the mouths of the people who fought Fascism and still do today.
I have learned and now know, this fight is NOT over.
