The first time Mark saw mountains was when he was 39 years old in Colorado. When he saw the Indian Paintbrush flowers in the high altitude meadows he knew that he would make something inspired by them. He promptly moved with his family to Colorado, proceeded to pursue art, become a world famous kinetic wind sculpture artist, and eventually create for us this stunning wind powered sculpture. Indian Paintbrush can be displayed low to the ground and can still catch enough wind to move rapidly.
