DIY Denim Jacket Makeover with Mood Fabrics: Apricot Geometric Waxed Cotton African Print
After a recent "trip" to Mood Fabrics, [ Ссылка ], I was excited to slice into the fabric. I also wanted INSTANT GRATIFICATION. I decided to update and upcycle a well loved denim Polo jacket.
My initial plan was to only cover the back of the jacket with one large piece of the fabric. But as any Creative will tell you, the project will tell YOU what it wants to become. I ended up using strips of fabric instead, leaving parts of the denim showing through the back. The project also told me to add strips to the front. I may end up adding elbow patches later.
I did not sew a single stitch. I used a product called HeatnBond to permanently add the fabric to my jacket. The UltraHold is a no-sew bond that is perfect for appliqué.
