Thaliparamba: The 'Keralam Keezhatturilekku' march against the National Highway bypass construction through the paddy fields in Keezhattoor, has reached the site. People from various parts of the State participated in the march that began from Thaliparamba. Police have beefed up security in and around Keezhattoor to prevent any untoward incidents. Prominent political and cultural leaders including actor and MP Suresh Gopi, V M Sudheeran, PC George and lawyer and environment activist Hareesh Vasudevan participated in the march. Speaking at the public meeting, Suresh Gopi said that he will bring the issue to the Prime Minister’s attention. Suresh Gopi also asked chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan to resolve the issue amicably.
