There are a variety of job titles. There's instructional designer, instructional technologist, training manager, instructional media specialist. Some of those terms are business industry and some are K-12 or academia. So there's a variety of different titles, but they're all focused on the design and development of instructional environments or instruction. Professionals with this degree may design internal training for workforce, and it may be for healthcare, business industry. It could be for military purposes. Through my career, I've worked on all those different varieties of things, and it's been so interesting to see how they're all interconnected. They all relate back to really focusing on problem-solving. What is the instructional problem? What is it that the individual needs to learn? And what's the best way to get that person from where they are to where they can be in that overall learning goal? There always seems to be a demand for people with these skills.
