In terms of location, Pompano Beach is located in north Broward County, with West Palm Beach to its north, about 50 minutes away, and Fort Lauderdale to its south, about 20-30 minutes away depending on where you're going. Miami is further south, about an hour to 50 minutes away. Larry notes that Pompano Beach's proximity to the other major cities in the state of Florida is important to consider as well. For example, Orlando is about two and a half to three hours away, Tampa takes about four hours to get to, and Jacksonville is about five and a half to six hours away.
Larry also highlights the geographic features of Pompano Beach, showing viewers on a map that the city has two bridges that cross over the Intracoastal that go from the mainland to the island, giving access to the beach areas. The beach is about three miles long and about a hundred yards wide, meaning that it can accommodate a lot of people. Additionally, Pompano Beach is in a great location as it relates to international airports, with three international airports located in South Florida, including Fort Lauderdale International, Miami International, and West Palm Beach International, all within close proximity to the city.
