Do you want to know how to make an epic diner-style patty melt at home? Look no further than this epic patty melt! Made with ground beef, melted cheese, onion, bella mushrooms, and homemade burger sauce (Thousand Island). This melt is sure to satisfy your cravings at any time of the year trust me!
Full recipe: Serving size 2-4
Burger:
►1-2 pounds of ground beef 93-7 (the more fat the better actually)
►1 tsp of hamburger seasoning (McCormick grill mates)
►Sliced cheese of choice
►Thick sliced French toast bread
►Butter or Mayo to toast bread
Veggies:
►One large onion
►1 -2 hand full of cleaned Bella mushrooms
►1 Tbsp extra light olive oil
Burger sauce (Thousand Island):
►1 tsp salt, or to taste
►1/2 tsp black pepper, or to taste
►1/2 tsp onion powder
►1/2 tsp garlic powder
►1 tsp of complete seasoning
►1 tbsp of garlic paste
►Fresh chopped parsley
►1 cup of mayo ( Any kind)
►2 tbsp of ketchup (Any kind)
►1/2- 1 tsp of L and P W sauce
►1/2-1 tsp of hot sauce
►1 tsp of garlic paste
►Lemon or lime juice to taste
►1 tbsp of yellow mustard
►Sweet relish to taste (More juice if possible)
