To make an indexer into a useful tool to facilitate operations on a part or multiple parts. This is useful in a garage or small shop that can't justify the cost of an industrial grade rotary/indexer. Working in a small budget minded machine shop, I felt that an automated indexer would increase the process and reduce costs compared to using a manual indexer. The cost of the parts are minimal (indexer, electronics, materials) it’s the engineering and labor that are a little more involved. You can copy what I have done or use parts as a guide and customize for your needs.
