A priest and three male employees at a crematorium in Delhi Cantonment in southwest Delhi allegedly raped and killed a nine-year-old Dalit girl, then cremated her body without her parents' permission or police notification. The four men were arrested after the child's relatives claimed foul play and held a demonstration with other locals. Radhey Shyam, the crematorium's 55-year-old priest, and three others, Salim, Laxmi Narayan, and Kuldeep, were identified as the four male suspects. The family who is Dalit in this case has requested the death penalty to be revoked. CM Arvind Kejriwal is expected to meet the family today.
