My Boya By-M1 review: the Boya By-M1 is one of the best lavalier mics considering it's audio quality for the price. It's volume levels are significantly louder than that of the Rode Microvideo, making it ideal for DSLR cameras with a poor pre-amp such as the Canon 80D. This mic comes equipped with a 25 foot long cord allowing for lots of movement while shooting. The package includes a velcro wire organizer and a storage pouch. Overall, a solid choice if you're looking for an affordable lavalier microphone for a DSLR camera.
