This is my third bus journey in Myanmar, in all cases I have taken a night bus with JJ Express one of the luxury bus companies in Myanmar. I have found JJ Express to be reliable and the buses to be comfortable, but I must admit although you save on a nights accommodation cost and should in theory give you more time to enjoy Myanmar, actually I have found that I arrive at my destination so tired that I need to get some sleep before going out to see the sights of whichever Myanmar town I have just arrived in, so it's a bit of a false economy.
