Let’s prepare Navratri Special Makhana Kheer
Ingredients:
- Ghee
- Fox nuts (Makhana)
- Cashew nuts (Kuju)
- Almonds (Badam)
- Chironji
- Raisin (Kishmish)
- Milk (Dud)
- Saffron (Kesar)
- Desi khand
- Elaichi powder
Full Recipe:
- Add ghee, let it warm up.
- Add Makhana & roast till it becomes crunchy.
- Keep aside, and crush them into small pieces
- Add more ghee, roast cashew nuts & almonds in it.
- Then add chironji, raisins & roast well
- Add milk & let it heat up
- Add Saffron (Kesar) to it, mix well & add crushed makhana & mix well.
- Add roasted dry furits, makhana & mix well.
- Add desi khand, elachi powder & mix again.. cook for 5min. More on medium flame.
