In order to really put the new Mixwave Benson Amps Chimera plugin through its paces, Chris convinced his old Seattle band The Beautiful Clarks to reform and record a new song "Welcome Aboard".

The song was written by Billy Hatcher on Friday April 2nd, and the boys gathered at Dan's studio on April 3rd, and nailed it on the 3rd take. Overdubs and mixing happened later that day, and the plugin was utilized for every insert other than some light bass and vocal compression, Albini style.
