Panglima Tertinggi Angkatan Laut Kerajaan Thailand, Choengchai Chomchoengpaet, memimpin upacara penyambutan kapal amfibi yang diadakan di Pangkalan Angkatan Laut Sattahip di provinsi Chonburi pada Selasa (25/4). Beberapa pejabat pertahanan Thailand, perwira angkatan laut, dan perwakilan pemerintah turut menghadiri upacara tersebut. Platform pendaratan yang dinamakan “His Thai Majesty’s Ship” Chang tidak hanya menandai awal yang baik dari strategi 20 tahun angkatan laut Thailand, tetapi juga menunjukkan persahabatan dan kerja sama yang lebih erat lagi antara Tiongkok dan Thailand serta kedua angkatan laut dari negara-negara tersebut.

Commander-in-chief of the Royal Thai Navy, Choengchai Chomchoengpaet, presided the reception ceremony of the amphibious ship that was held at Sattahip Naval Base in Chonburi province on Tuesday (4/25). Several Thai defense officials, navy officers, and government representatives also attended the ceremony. The landing platform, named as the “His Thai Majesty’s Ship” Chang, not only marks a good beginning of the navy’s 20-year strategy, but also indicates closer friendship and cooperation between China and Thailand as well as the navies of the two countries.
