On behalf of the staff of the National Endowment for Democracy, NED's Director of Programs and Emergency Response, Tenzin Palkyi, and Deputy Director for Latin America and the Caribbean, Fabiola Cordova, delivered remarks at the 2023 Democracy Awards in honor of NED's 40th Anniversary. "As staff we draw tremendous meaning and a strong sense of purpose from the courage and pure grit that our grantees demonstrate each day," Tenzin Palkyi said.
The National Endowment for Democracy is a private, nonprofit foundation dedicated to the growth and strengthening of democratic institutions around the world.
