Something new from me this time round is a new series that I've named PerfTest! Not too in-depth... but a brief compilation of how some buses act when upshifting, downshifting, accelerating under different throttle inputs, and Top Speed Runs including times which may be matched in a list if more buses can be covered!
Here as a debut, we have a an EX-RATP Group Euro 3 ALX400 Trident, which beholds the 8.3L Cummins engine paired with a 5-Speed ZF Ecomat gearbox. As some may know, most Ecomat gearboxes lock-up twice on acceleration depending on the throttle input. Of course... it has kickdown and is a very nippy example, wasting no time off the line!
Enjoy the video!
