PewDiePie hasn’t grown at all in the past year.
This is because he’s losing and gaining the same amount of subscribers which is keeping him at 111M subscribers.
This isn’t because people have stopped liking him.
It’s because:
1. He’s slowed down - He’s not uploading as frequently as he used to
2. The content has switched genres so many times over the years leaving subscribers lost as to what to expect next from Felix.
With just 2.5 million views per video on average (which isn’t bad by the way), is roughly 2% of his total subscribers.
Compare that to Mr. Beast who is 44 million subscribers (155M) in front but has a whopping 146M views on average per video which is around 94% of his total subscribers.
While he may not have the same viewer engagement rate as Mr. Beast, PewDiePie seems happier than ever in his personal life as he steps away from YouTube and shows that views aren’t everything.
