When the movie "Chappaquiddick" opens next week, audiences will have a chance to look back at one of the most notorious incidents of the 1960s. Chappaquiddick is a small island off the coast of Martha's Vineyard, Mass. On the evening of Friday, July 18, 1969, U.S. Sen. Ted Kennedy and a passenger, 28-year-old political aide Mary Jo Kopechne, took a wrong turn and drove off the Dike Bridge. Kennedy was able to escape and swim to the surface, but Kopechne drowned. #InsideEdition
