Join me and Laura as we enjoy an EPIC Day exploring New York City, USA! We start our day early at Starbucks in the Empire State Building to get caffeinated and caramelized before we go to The Friends Experience New York City. On the way we cannot resist calling in at Bath and Body Works to see what candles and scents they had available. The Friends Experience is a MST DO for anyone who is a fan of the TV show. Filled with props, photo opportunities and pre nostalgia, this should definitely be on your list, especially as the TV show is based and set in New York!
After buying some great merchandise and souvenirs in the Gift Shop, we catch the Subway Metro Train to Wall Street to see the New York Stock Exchange with its beautiful Christmas Tree outside. For some food we managed to find a Pizza location that did Gluten Free slices for Laura called Grotto Authentic Italian Pizza. Laura absolutely loved it and is again a good option for anyone with Gluten Allergies. On route I do point out along the way Whole Foods Supermarket which has some great bargain food options if you want to grab a quick snack on the go in New York and Save some dollars.
From Wall Street and the Financial District we head to the Oculus shopping center to grab a Dunkin Donut and to catch the Subway Metro back up to Midtown Manhattan. For a little sugar and energy boost we head to Bryant Park for one of the best snacks and THE BEST HOT CHOCOLATE we have ever had at Smores N´More. This sent me and Laura to chocolate heaven! After a break back at the Hotel we head to our reservation at Summit One Vanderbilt to experience their observatory experience. Was it worth the Hype? Overall it was another FANTASTIC day exploring New York!
