Hi,
This is Noelle from Happy goat Creamery and I'm milking three goats here for you to see how a first freshener compares to a six-year-old milk Doe compares to a 12 year old milk doe. The best goat is not necessarily the youngest or the oldest if what you want is milk, but if you want babies an Old Goat or young goat will do. Personally I'm fondest of Matilda because she never gets sick, she makes lots of kids and she makes enough milk to raise those kids. So it depends on what you're looking for and she makes really really great grandkids and great-grandkids. We've got generations of her! It's awesome!

Happy Goat Creamery is a small goat dairy with lamancha goats in southern Missouri. We, the goat ladies, are currently milking 24 does and housing over 40 Lamancha Goats. We raise our own replacement milkers and occasionally purchase outside does when necessary. With the dairy on only an acre, our neighbors generously provide much needed graze on the surrounding 30 acres. We shepherd the goats as there are no fences with 3 rules: no jumping on cars, no eating gardens, and no front yard grazing(unless expressly allowed)
Thanks for watching & check out our website to buy some ridiculously cheap goat milk soap.
