Another project completed! We might be the first (and only, so far) ones to install ebb and flow trays on tables here in the Philippines. This grow system technique is great for potted plants or vegetables grown in containers.
In this greenhouse, we collect and harvest rainwater from the roofing gutters into a fishpond. This water is then pumped to a filtration system and stored as clean water for use on the tables.
A Rainbird irrigation controller operates the pumps and solenoid valves to flood the tables for a set amount of time, bottom-feeding the plants on the table with nutrients from the fish stock.
After the pump cycle turns off, the water seeps back down the drain into the fishpond to reset the cycle.
