Buses in Oxford on 29th October 2024. Stagecoach West began full introduction of their new Enviro400EVs earlier in the month following commissioning of their charging facility. Around a dozen were in use on this day, providing the full service on route 10 and some journeys on the 1.
Meanwhile, Oxford Bus Company have their entire EV fleet of 104 Wrightbus vehicles in use, these having cascaded many diesel buses across the local Go-Ahead fleets with many still awaiting repaints. Spare EVs are also in operation on the 280 (a part replacement for the now withdrawn Arriva route) as they will not be required on other routes until the Botley Road bridge works are complete.
Redline have also begun to brand their B8RLEs and an Enviro200 for the X20 from Aylesbury.
