www.eyesonthesky.com. Not every feature on the Moon is a simple, round crater or tall mountain. There are some unusual features, some of which take a keener eye to see, but when pointed out, become more obvious. This week's video look at the Schiller-Zucchius Basn, the crater Schiller itself - both in the southwestern region of the Moon, and the double-crater of Messier in Mare Fecunditatis. The large crater Langrenus will be well-shadowed on March 29th as well. Jupiter remains in the western evening sky this week, and Saturn rises before midnight in the east, with the Moon stopping by on the 28th and 29th. See what's up in the night sky every week with "Eyes on the Sky" videos, astronomy made easy.
