Reliving The War takes a look at the WWF vs WCW / Raw vs Nitro Monday Night Wars that took place in during the mid to late 90's and early 2000's. With WWF Raw airing on the USA Network and WCW Nitro broadcasting live on TNT at the same time, fans had to choose which program they would watch, and this series takes a look at what was on each channel while comparing every match, promo and segment of the Monday Night Wars.
We're now days away from WCW's biggest event of the year, Starrcade 1996. Hollywood Hulk Hogan is going to face Roddy Piper at the big show and on this episode of Monday Nitro, Hulk Hogan again challenges Piper to get in the ring. A big surprise leaves Hogan stunned during the final segment of Nitro. Elsewhere on the show, we find out who will face Diamond Dallas Page in the US Title Tournament finals.
On the WWF channel, things aren't looking so good. Bret Hart faces Razor Ramon in the main event but even The Hitman can't save Raw from a truly shocking TV rating. WWF Monday Night Raw ends up with it's worst rating of the whole Monday Night War on this week's episode.
