Converting a hydraulic radiator fan controller from electronic to use a good old tried and true wax valve.
Part 2 is here: [ Ссылка ]
This probably isn't the best video blog, but my primary focus was getting the job done in a timely manner. I tried to remember to pick up the phone and take video as much as I could. I also tend to ramble, hence some of the cuts.
Wax valve was obtained from here: [ Ссылка ]
Hydraulic fittings all obtained from here: [ Ссылка ]
The fittings I used (your coach may be different):
90 degree elbow -4 JIC to -5 ORB (pressure side) [ Ссылка ]
-6 JIC to -4 ORB (return): [ Ссылка ]
What I made the weld bung from: [ Ссылка ]
Note that the pressure side will change when I decided whether to use an orifice or needle valve on the pressure line to make fan run at low speed for AC head pressures.
