Hello and welcome back!
Last week I went on a fantastic boat trip that toured around the beautiful Farne Islands. I loved it so much that I went back again a few days later but this time managed to explore the Inner Farne Island by foot! This island hosted a fantastic array of wildlife including: Puffins, Seals, Shags, Guillemots, Razorbills and much more! It was absolutely amazing, I had a super day and managed to get some shots that I am very happy with.
If you are a lover of wildlife photography and want to get some shots of puffins or life at sea, I cannot recommend the Farne Islands enough. The boat crew are super lovely and knowledgeable and really take the time to show you the islands and wildlife around. There were puffins everywhere so you would not be disappointed!
On this trip I used my Fujifilm 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 which was attached to my X-T3. For filming the wildlife footage I used a mixture of the set up just mentioned and also my XT-30ii with the 23mm f/1.4 - which I am currently testing out for Fujifilm. All vlogging footage was taken on my Sony ZV-1.
I hope you enjoy this lighthearted vlog. I just wanted to give you a snippet of my adventure and hopefully inspire anyway to take a trip to the Farne Islands. If you want to know any more details about camera setup do let me know!
Wild x
