I recently tried out macOS Sequoia’s new window tiling and snapping features—and it was a disaster. During an important Google Meet interview, my main window snapped off-screen, making it impossible to see anyone or even drag it back. I’m running a multiple monitor setup (two external 5K displays plus my MacBook Pro M3 Max), and I suspect that’s part of the problem. Until Apple addresses these bugs, I’m turning off these features entirely. In this video, I’ll show you what went wrong, and then walk you through how to disable these finicky tiling options in System Settings. Let’s hope Apple fixes this soon!
Turn it Off (You can manually tile using the green button on the corner)
Go to "System Settings" then "Desktop & Dock" then Under Windows disable:
• Drag windows to screen edges to tile
• Drag windows to menu bar to fill screen
• Hold option key while dragging windows to tile
• Tiled windows have margins
