Pearl Jam - Black Diamond (Kiss cover w/ Ace Frehley from Kiss) - Madison Square Garden, New York, NY-6/25/08 - My 18th Pearl Jam concert - 7 SHOWS IN 10 DAYS!!!!! Concert #5 of 7 Pearl Jam shows in 10 days in 2008 with my best friend Bernie!!! This was one of my favorite experiences in life, period. Hitting the road with Bernie to follow our favorite band and sharing a truly amazing musical and spiritual journey, having a blast with every laugh along the way. This was something we always wanted to do, to take a break from life and reality and immerse ourselves in all that is a Pearl Jam tour, as we will have stories and memories for our entire lives from every concert we have ever gone to together, but damn, these drives, these tailgates, these closing down of parking lots after the shows, and these 7 shows, unbelievable! Finding that true passion for something that you love and can't get enough of in life and just enjoying as much as you can of it if you can get that chance, whether it be a favorite band, going to concerts, or whatever your passion is, is one of the truly great things about life and I wish that everyone can experience that to some degree and make that happen for themselves in this crazy world, especially experiencing things like this alongside great and true people! :))))) I am very lucky for all of this.
