Over the 7th - 9th July the Bluebell Railway hosted their End of Southern Steam Gala to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the end of steam on the Southern Region of British Railways.
The star of the events is Southern Railway 'West Country' class No.34092 "City of Wells"(visiting from the East Lancashire Railway) works along side the railway home fleet Southern Railway Q class No.30541 and British Railways Standard Class 5MT No.73082 "Camelot" on a three-train service with a timetable similar to the one used for the "Flying Scotsman" visit back in April.
