How can music help us connect with our deepest emotions? In this creative thesis project, Zachary Thomas, an audio production major, explores the transformative power of music inspired by Chip Dodd's The Voice of the Heart. By blending Ancient Greek folklore, Biblical themes, and modern production techniques, Zachary composed an emotional journey through eight core emotions: hurt, lonely, sad, anger, fear, shame, guilt, and gladness.
Every song in this seven-track album was written, arranged, recorded, and produced by Zachary, offering a unique take on how music can reflect and move us through the "good" and "bad" sides of each emotion.
🎵 Album Highlights:
• 7 songs: 6 original tracks and 1 re-arranged mashup
• 3 minutes and 42 seconds average runtime per track
• 320 audio tracks across 8 projects
