The first DBX SUV just left the premises of the Aston Martin factory in Saint Athan, Wales, England. The company promises to begin shipments to multiple markets later in July.

Lagonda EV will be the next to join the automaker’s electric lineup in 2022. Its planned production quantity is 5,000 units per year.
The DBX uses a bonded aluminum chassis and is structurally similar to the marque’s sports cars. It features double-wishbone suspension on the front axle and multi-link suspension on the rear axle.
Powering the off-roader is a bi-turbo 4.0-liter Mercedes-AMG V8 rated at 550 hp (410 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque. Acceleration from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) takes 4.5 seconds, and the top speed amounts to 291 km/h (180 mph).
