The A10 Thunderbolt, also known as the A-10 Warthog, is an air to ground attack fighter designed to provide close air support to ground forces in combat. This aircraft was developed by Fairchild-Republic in the 1970s to replace the aging A-1 Skyraider fighter.

The A10 Thunderbolt is equipped with the main weapon in the form of a 30 mm GAU-8 Avenger cannon which can fire around 4,200 rounds per minute. This cannon has the ability to easily destroy tanks and other armored vehicles. In addition, the aircraft is equipped with laser-guided missiles and precision-guided bombs.

In addition to weapons, the A10 Thunderbolt is also equipped with an armor and protection system to increase resistance to enemy fire. This aircraft has a unique design with two large engines located at the rear, as well as wings that can be folded up for easy storage in the hangar.

The A10 Thunderbolt has been used in various military conflicts, including the Gulf War, the War in Afghanistan, and the Iraq War. Despite its age, it is still considered one of the best fighters for close air support missions.
