Ever since we first saw the vandalized red suit of Robin in the trailer for Batman vs Superman- fans have been left wondering what happened to Robin and which incantation of the character met their end at the hands of the Joker. While this mystery was never fully addressed- with both director Zack Snyder and Warner Bros sending mixed messages- we might finally have an answer and put the whole debate to rest.

With Snyder announcing that the identity of Robin will finally be revealed in the mythical Snyder Cut, as well as how he met his demise, we look into what this means for the future of the DCEU and how important this reveal actually is.
