2024 has been a banger year for Fallout, starting with the explosive success of Amazon Prime’s Fallout TV show, which led to the resurgent sales and engagement numbers enjoyed by pretty much every Fallout game in existence, which has then been followed up by the release of Fallout 4’s long awaited total conversion expansion sized mod, Fallout London.
But notice how none of that has been even remotely related to a new Fallout release by Bethesda? Yeah, that’s a bit of a problem, to say the very least. The company is obviously benefiting from the success of the series in the here and now, but it’s more than a little frustrating that it’s going to be at least another decade before we get to play Fallout 5.
