The Governor of the Central Bank, Tumusiime Mutebile, has vowed never to rescue distressed banks again in the local industry warning that prudent management and supervision would further be enforced.

Speaking at the Annual Bankers Conference here in Kampala, on Tuesday Morning, Mutebile, gave renewed explanations about the troubled Crane Bank and how even the 240 Billion shillings sank in it couldn’t save it.

According to the Bankers Association, at least 6 commercial banks remain unprofitable, picking out on the governor's fresh concerns.
