President Mobutu Sese Seko's long-time political adversary Etienne Tshisekedi was chosen late on Tuesday (1/4) as the radical opposition's sole candidate for the post of prime minister, to replace the sacked Kengo wa Dondo. He was nominated at an opposition meeting in Kinshasa's
parliament building.
