The German company Brabus took a Mercedes-AMG S 63 E Performance and made several enhancements. The car's front spoiler now includes side flaps that aren't just for looks. They were designed with the results from wind tunnel tests in mind, helping to lower the force against the front of the car at high speeds, making it more stable.
The original twin-turbo setup of the AMG S 63's four-liter engine was powerful, but Brabus didn't stop there. They added two specially made turbochargers with bigger 52-mm compressors. This upgrade increased the engine's power from 604 horsepower and 664 pound-feet of torque to 730 horsepower and 723 pound-feet of torque. The front of the car also features a large grille with two carbon fiber air intakes, adding to its aggressive look.
The car's power is further increased by an electric motor on the back axle, bringing the total to 917 horsepower and 1,114 pound-feet of torque. This is why it's called the '930'. The car also sports carbon fiber parts like the side air intake covers, a rear diffuser, exhaust tips made of carbon and titanium, and a rear spoiler, all contributing to its performance and appearance.
The aerodynamic and performance improvements allow this heavy car to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.1 seconds, with its top speed increased from the standard 155 mph to 180 mph, though it's still electronically limited.
Depending on the driving mode selected, the car can be lowered by 10 millimeters. The 'Sport' mode makes full use of the V8 engine's roar, while the 'Coming Home' mode keeps things quiet.
The Brabus 930 rolls on 22-inch Brabus Monoblock ZM "Platinum Edition" wheels, notable for their 20-spoke design and standout center disc. Inside, the car features luxurious black leather with "Seashell Diamond" quilting and matching black piping. The seats are adorned with "77" logos, a homage to the year Brabus was founded, 1977.
