In the latest development in the Cauvery water dispute, the Supreme Court has directed the Karnataka government to release 6000 cusecs of water to Tamil Nadu for 2 days. The SC has warned Karnataka Government for disobedience. The Centre will call a meeting of Chief Ministers of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu over the Cauvery water wars.
