Welcome back to That 70’s House, my retro home renovation and makeover series! Today, we're tackling a major transformation: my stairs are finally getting the extreme makeover they've needed for a long time. The old carpet was beyond saving—it had seen its share of cleaning attempts, but no matter what, it just looked, well, old. So, we knew it was time for a change. But we had a couple of important considerations: we still wanted carpet because our dog, Danny, tends to slip on wood floors, and we were determined to stay true to the vibe of our 70's-inspired home. Stay tuned to see how we brought the stairs back to life with lush carpet, stair lighting, and rich, stained wood paneling.
