Toledo police said an operator of a Ford Explorer driving southbound on I-75 wrecked his vehicle underneath the Dorr Street overpass late Thursday morning.
The accident took place at around 11 a.m. near a downtown Toledo exit.
The Ford Explorer crashed into a collapsible guardrail seperating the exit ramp from the the highway. The crash caused back-ups during the noontime rush. The exit ramp was shut down for about an hour while crews cleaned up the mess.
The motorist was transferred to an area hospital for treatment. There is no word on his condition.
