합참 "北, 미사일 여러발 발사…1천여㎞ 비행"
We start with news that North Korea has fired at least four projectiles into the East Sea.
We are awaiting confirmation on what kind of missiles they were,... but they flew for hundreds of kilometers before coming down in the ocean.
For more details we connect to our defense correspondent Kim Hyun-bin who is standing by at the Ministry of National Defense in Seoul.

The South Korean military says North Korea fired off four ballistic missiles from an area around its Dongchang-ri long-range missile site at 7:36 am, South Korea time.
Officials say the missiles flew around one thousand kilometers before landing in the East Sea.
A defense ministry official said the missiles were likely Pukguksong-2 an upgraded version of the Musudan which is an Intermediate ballistic missile -- however Seoul and Washington are still trying to figure out the exact type of missiles.
Japan has announced that three of the four missiles fell in its exclusive economic zone... one within 250 kilometers of Japanese land.
North Korea on Friday threatened to launch more missiles in response to the ongoing Seoul-Washington annual large scale field training drills dubbed Foal Eagle.
The allies are scheduled to start their command post exercise Key Resolve next week.
It's common for North Korea to fire missiles during the allies' two month long Key Resolve and Foal Eagle drills.
South Korea military says it's on high alert and maintaining readiness for additional provocations.
If confirmed, this will be North Korea's second ballistic missile launch this year and second since President Trump took office.
The regime launched an intermediate ballistic missile on February 12th to mark its first provocation of 2017.
I'll bring you more updates at noon.
