In this video, i share the five beginner mistakes with copic markers or alcohol markers that I did the most often or that caused the most problems and how to avoid them. I wanted to make a video on how to use copic markers when you are a beginner to help people avoid doing the same mistakes when they start drawing with alcohol markers.

The copic drawings I have put in the thumbnail are actually two of my first formal drawings made with copic markers. After I experimented for around 10 small drawings, I felt confortable buying more expensive paper and start to do more serious copic drawings like these two.
I am used to make speed drawing videos or makeup tutorial, but this video is my first drawing tutorial. I learned a couple of thing while filming this and I may be able to film things in a better way in the future. I especially learned how to “move the camera” and zoom in my editing software. I also now see what looks good on camera, what looks bad and what is best to show with pictures taken with my cellphone versus trying to show it on camera. Maybe my next drawing tutorials will be better, but I have to start somewhere
The tutorial was supposed to be kind of short. I think it ended up being quite long. Maybe I will touch some of those points more in depth in some other videos. At least it covers pretty much all the mistakes I did when I started with copic markers.
