In Yobe state, suspected Boko Haram terrorists have killed an officer during an attack on a customs office in Geidam local government.
According to Eyewitness reports the insurgents stormed the office along Maine Soroa road at about 10pm on Saturday.
The invasion has caused some residents in the area to relocate due to fear of subsequent attacks.
The Yobe police command is yet to issue a statement on the unfortunate incident.
